Buy a mount from a stable, ride it for faster intercity
travel — and let it absorb part of the damage you take
in combat. Tier A MVP ships 4 species.

COMMANDS:
  /mount                    List your owned mounts (active marker)
  /mount status             Same as /mount
  /mount <name>             Mount up on a named mount (or switch active)
  /mount list               Show species available at this stable
  /mount buy <species>      Buy a mount from the stablemaster here
  /dismount                 Step down off your active mount

SPECIES (Tier A):

TRAVEL SPEED:
  Being mounted divides intercity travel time by the
  species' multiplier. A warhorse (x1.8) cuts a 60-min
  trip to ~33 min. Within-town movement is unaffected.

COMBAT PROTECTION:
  When you'd take a hit, the mount absorbs a share
  (warhorse 50%, riding/draft 30%, mule 20%) and drops
  HP. If the mount's HP hits 0 you are thrown from the
  saddle and take full damage from that hit onwards until
  you mount a fresh one.

BUYING:
  Visit Oakes, the stablemaster at Ghelmyon's west-gate
  stable. Use /mount list to see what's for sale, then
  /mount buy <species>. The Paladin starts with a warhorse
  named Shadowmane at no cost.
