Wounds — Injuries and Treatment

How Wounds Happen:
  Wounds come from combat damage to specific body parts.
  Severity depends on the hit and how much HP was lost.

Wound Severity:
  Minor      Heals naturally with rest or sleep
  Moderate   Needs bandages or temple treatment to heal
  Severe     Requires temple cleric treatment

Infections:
  Untreated wounds can develop infections over time.
  Infections progress: minor wound → moderate → severe.
  Infected wounds get worse until treated — don't ignore them.
  Temple clerics cure infections. Antidotes also help.

Bandages:
  Bandages stop bleeding and slow wound deterioration.
  They do NOT cure wounds or clear infections on their own.
  Use: use bandage

Stat Penalties:
  Active wounds reduce your stats in combat.
  Wound penalties are shown in your combat output.
  Healed wounds no longer impose penalties.

Temple Treatment:
  go temple → talk to a cleric
  Clerics heal wounds and cure infections for a fee.
