Fighting Styles

Weapon-specific combat stances that modify your
combat performance. Unlocked by weapon skill rank.
Styles stack with stances (aggressive/defensive/etc).

Commands:
  style <name>          Switch to a fighting style
  /style                List styles for equipped weapon
  style off             Revert to no style

Stat Key:
  Hit = attack roll       Dmg = flat damage
  Crit = crit chance %    Def = defense threshold
  Parry = parry chance    Dodge = dodge modifier
  Spd = initiative        DblStrike = double-strike %

Rock-paper-scissors matchups between fighting style archetypes

Counter-Styles

Every style belongs to an archetype. When your
archetype counters your opponent's, you gain:
  +8 hit, +5% crit, +0.1x damage
When countered, you suffer:
  -5 hit, -3% crit

Matchups (A > B means A beats B):
  Aggressive > Evasive, Control
  Defensive  > Aggressive, Precision
  Evasive    > Defensive, Precision
  Precision  > Aggressive, Control
  Control    > Evasive, Defensive

Style Archetypes:
  Aggressive: Berserker Blade, Lumberjack,
    Wall Breaker, Executioner, Brawler, Whirlwind
  Defensive:  Sentinel, Monk, Pikeman
  Evasive:    Shadow Dancer, Martial Artist, Volley
  Precision:  Duelist, Cutthroat, Sniper, Half-Sword
  Control:    Skull Crusher, Quarterstaff Master

Tip: Watch for style advantage/disadvantage messages
in combat. Switch styles to counter tough enemies.
